Spring schedule set for PCC's Illumination Project

The Illumination Project at Portland Community College announced its spring dates of performances. The group will explore religious oppression and pluralism as its theme this term.

The Illumination Project is a student leadership and campus climate program designed to address issues of oppression through interactive theater. It has the dual purpose of providing students with an opportunity to develop skills as educators, activists and leaders and to educate audiences on social justice issues. Performances are free and open to the public. All locations are wheelchair accessible and sign language interpreting is available by request. The spring schedule includes:

Performing Arts Center, Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave.

* 1 to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5

* 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 6

* 9 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 18

* 9 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 19

* 1 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 20

* 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 20

* 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21

Additional performances will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, at the Cascade Campus (705 N. Killingsworth St.) and 10 to 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 11, at the Event Center, Rock Creek Campus (17705 N.W. Springville Road).
